New Zealand House of Representatives Speaker to visit Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM – At the invitation of Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, Speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Gerard Brownlee, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the New Zealand Parliament, will pay an official visit to Mongolia from August 31 to September 3, 2025, Montsame reports.

The visit marks the first official trip to Mongolia by a Speaker of the New Zealand Parliament. It aims to broaden the scope of bilateral relations, enhance the frequency of high-level visits and dialogues, and strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. As part of the visit, Speaker Amarbayasgalan and Speaker Brownlee will hold official talks.    

Mongolia and New Zealand established diplomatic relations on April 8, 1975, and 2025 marks the 50th anniversary, according to the Media and Public Relations Department of the Parliament of Mongolia.
