AKIPRESS.COM – The Saudi television channel Al-Hadath reported that Iran has launched a fresh coordinated wave of missiles and drones targeting Doha, Kuwait City, Dubai, and Bahrain on March 2.
Al Jazeera confirmed that multiple explosions were heard in Abu Dhabi, while approximately half a dozen blasts were reported in the Qatari capital of Doha. News agency AFP reported similar explosions occurring in Bahrain and Dubai as regional tensions continue to escalate.
In Kuwait, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported a direct attack on the United States Embassy, with Reuters citing witnesses who observed thick smoke rising from the diplomatic compound.
Additionally, a U.S. F-15 fighter jet crashed in Kuwaiti territory during the skirmish; while the crew successfully ejected, Tasnim claims that Iranian forces were responsible for shooting down the aircraft.
