Mayor of Bishkek attends assembly at school No. 43
AKIPRESS.COM – Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev took part in the assembly at school No. 43 in the Ak-Bata housing estate and congratulated the students on Knowledge Day and the start of the new academic year.
The new school No. 43 is designed for 650 students. The total area is more than 5,000 square meters, there are 22 classrooms, including 6 for elementary grades.
The official opening of this school took place on August 29 as part of the planned opening of 100 social facilities throughout Kyrgyzstan with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov in an online format.
“This year, more than 260,000 students will attend 120 schools in our capital, including more than 39,000 students in grades 1-2. Every year we increase the capacity of schools and build new ones. 15 additional school buildings and 9 new ones have been built in recent years,” the mayor said.
