On June 17, a significant event took place at the Crowne Plaza Dushanbe hotel – the first international medical conference “Health Space,” organized by JSC “MEDSI Group of Companies.” The event gathered over 300 guests, including leading medical specialists from Tajikistan and Russia, the country’s medical community, representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the media.
This conference became a unique platform for familiarizing with the capabilities of the Russian private clinic network “MEDSI” and the operating international multidisciplinary clinic “MEDSI” in Dushanbe.
“Culture of Patient Care”
During the conference’s rich program, representatives of the “MEDSI” Group repeatedly emphasized in their speeches that one of the key principles of the clinic’s work is the accessibility of medical services and a focus specifically on the needs of patients.
This refers not only to the latest technologies and the professionalism of “MEDSI” doctors but also, among other things, to the rapid recovery of patients after surgeries and minimal pain sensations during treatment. But the main advantage is that treatment is provided according to international standards and tailored individually for each patient.
“MEDSI is 30 years of innovation, patient care, and striving for excellence in medicine. We have brought to Tajikistan an entire philosophy of health approach based on personalization, diagnostic accuracy, and the highest level of professionalism of our doctors.
The opening of the MEDSI clinic in Dushanbe is our contribution to the health and well-being of the people of Tajikistan, an opportunity to provide them with world-class medical services. We are not just opening doors to a new country; we are bringing our expertise, a unique culture of patient care. We feel genuine trust and support from our Tajik friends and partners, and we are convinced that together we can make medicine even stronger and more accessible, helping each person preserve and strengthen the most important thing – health,” noted the president of the “MEDSI” Group, Andrey Sokolov, during his speech.
It should be noted that the project was implemented in partnership with the “Koinoti Nav” group of companies — one of the largest multidisciplinary holdings in Tajikistan. The company’s CEO, Ilhom Mirzo, expressed gratitude and pride in collaborating with the “MEDSI” Group and emphasized the importance of this conference.
“
“We are proud that today Dushanbe is becoming a platform for such a significant international medical forum. Partnership with the “MEDSI” Group opens a new chapter in the development of healthcare in Tajikistan, providing our citizens with access to the most modern technologies and treatment methods recognized worldwide. We are confident that joint efforts will lead to an improvement in people’s quality of life and the strengthening of the nation’s health.”

During the conference, participants learned from clinic specialists about the technological capabilities of “MEDSI,” examples of the most severe cases their doctors have worked on, their experience, and more. Each of them also shared in their reports about their area of activity in “MEDSI.”
“We strive for our patients to receive not only effective treatment but also comprehensive support at all stages – from prevention to rehabilitation. Today’s conference is an opportunity to show how we work, what methods we apply, and how we achieve high results. We are ready to share our experience and, together with our Tajik colleagues, build a healthcare system focused on the patient and their needs,” noted in turn the medical director of the “MEDSI” Group, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Igor Semenyakin.
Health Check as a Gift
As a pleasant bonus from the “Be Healthy with MEDSI” project, special zones for check-up examinations were organized for conference participants. There, guests had the opportunity to undergo free express diagnostics and receive individual consultations on healthy lifestyle issues.
In particular, guests could examine moles, determine skin type using a modern dermatoscope, check the condition of the scalp and hair with a trichoscope, undergo bioimpedance analysis, and determine body composition.
Afterward, guests were treated to a buffet where they could discuss current issues with “MEDSI” doctors in an informal setting.
Additionally, during the visit to Tajikistan, clinic doctors conducted consultations. Over the days of the visit, more than 100 patients were seen, complex cases were identified, patient histories were thoroughly studied, and further recommendations for examination and treatment were provided.
What Services Are Provided at the “MEDSI” Clinic in Dushanbe?
Residents of Tajikistan can now receive assistance from international-level specialists, as the “MEDSI” Group of Companies clinic operates in the capital.
The “MEDSI” Group of Companies is the largest federal network of private clinics, providing a full range of medical services from initial consultations to high-tech diagnostics, complex surgical interventions, and rehabilitation. The group’s assets include 144 clinics, a home care service, its own laboratory, a pharmacy network, and the telemedicine application SmartMed.
The Koinoti Nav group of companies has been implementing large-scale projects in the fields of pharmaceuticals, education, trade, and more for over 30 years.
The medical direction of the holding is represented by the company “Tibbi Nav,” which is engaged in the development of modern medical infrastructure and the implementation of international standards of medical care. It is on the basis of the “Tibbi Nav” company that the project for opening the first international medical center “MEDSI” in the republic was implemented.
The clinic operates in a full-cycle format and is designed to serve up to 600 patients per day (more than 216,000 people per year). The center combines 5 departments (therapeutic, pediatric, surgical, dental, and diagnostic) and covers 35 areas of medicine.
Services are available not only for adults but also for children.
The staff includes more than 50 highly qualified doctors, including “MEDSI” experts from Russia and Tajik specialists with international experience. There are 23 consultation rooms, 2 operating rooms, a 24-hour surgical inpatient facility, and an intensive care unit for patient reception.
It is important to note that the “MEDSI” clinic offers areas such as allergology-immunology, endoscopy, coloproctology, traumatology-orthopedics, rheumatology, nephrology, efferent therapy, and pediatric dentistry, which are scarce in Tajikistan.
Another advantage of the clinic is the advanced technologies that allow for high-precision diagnostics and minimally invasive interventions. These include a digital dermatoscope (biophotonics), the GENORAY mammographic system, the SonoScape HD-550 video endoscopic system, the Dixion ST-E600 ENT station, and the AP-01 membrane plasmapheresis device.
What is also important in the realities of Tajikistan is that the clinic operates in the above-average segment, and payment for services can be made both in cash and by transfers.
“In our work, we adhere to the principles of modern medicine. First and foremost, this is prevention and early detection of diseases, as it is much more effective to prevent the development of a disease than to fight its complications.
The second important principle is patient orientation. We strive to build partnerships with the patient, involving them in the decision-making process and accompanying them at all stages of treatment. The foundation of our work is the principles of evidence-based medicine, modern clinical recommendations, and scientifically proven diagnostic treatment methods,” noted in his speech the candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the first qualification category, and chief physician of “MEDSI” in Dushanbe Amirsher Muradov.
