Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan and Ambassador of China discuss cooperation within SCO

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar met with Ambassador of China to Tajikistan Guo Zhijun on August 13, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The sides exchanged views on current issues on the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) agenda, including preparations for the upcoming events, SCO Heads of State Summit (Bishkek, 31 August–1 September 2026) and the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member states (Dushanbe, 19–20 October 2026).

The parties expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and further strengthen cooperation within the framework of the Organisation.
