Delegation of Kyrgyz Parliament attends seminar in Beijing
AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyz MPs Altynbek Kylychbaev and Ilimbek Kubanychbekov attended a seminar in Beijing titled “Strengthening Experience Exchange in Public Administration and Creating a Platform for Mutual Cooperation among Legislative Bodies”.
The event, which included representatives from the Parliaments of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, was organized at the Museum of the History of the Communist Party of China.
During the seminar, MP Kylychbaev highlighted the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation within the SCO.
“The Shanghai Cooperation Organization today is an important platform for strengthening security, economic development, and cultural-humanitarian ties in the Eurasian region. One of the key factors in strengthening trust, stability, and partnership among SCO member states is inter-parliamentary cooperation. Inter-parliamentary relations are an effective way to strengthen friendships between peoples, exchange experience in the legislative sphere, and jointly discuss regional issues,” he said.
He added that the Kyrgyz Republic is ready to continue actively participating in SCO inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The delegation from Kyrgyzstan also met with Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Peng Qinghua.
