Chui district resident suspected of murdering her children detained

AKIPRESS.COM – A mother suspected of murdering her children has been detained, the Chui Region Department of Internal Affairs told Turmush.

The Chui district police received a message that the dead bodies of two young children were found in a house in a village at about 7:28 pm on September 12.

The bodies of two children with stab wounds were found in the house. They belonged to a girl born in 2013 and a boy born in 2023.

The bodies of the children were delivered to the morgue of the Tokmok City Hospital, and the necessary forensic examinations have been ordered.

The mother of the deceased children was detained on suspicion of murder and placed in a temporary detention center.

The investigation is ongoing.
