30,000 students go to schools in Chui region
AKIPRESS.COM – About 30,000 students went to the first grade in Chui region. 294 schools were working on September 1.
“This figure will still change, as students are transferring from one school to another,” the regional education department said.
“199,103 students are studying in the region. They are taught by 11,137 teachers. This data only includes 194 public schools, not 27 private schools. Two public schools were built and put into operation this year,” the report says.
In Sokuluk District, a new school for 700 students was opened in Kozhomkul village.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, who held the official opening.
