The landslide early warning centre of the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings to the districts of Colombo,  Galle,  Kalutara,  Kandy,  Kegalle,  Kurunegala,  Matale,  Matara, Nuwara-Eliya and Ratnapura for the next 24 hours commencing at 1600 hrs today (26).

Accordingly,

Level II warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secetaries divisions and surrounding areas of, Nagoda,  Elpitiya in the Galle district, Yatinuwara in the Kandy district,  Yatiyanthota, Rambukkana, Mawanella, Aranayake, Kegalle and Dehiowita in the Kegalle district, and Kalawana, Ratnapura and Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura district.

Level I warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secetaries divisions and surrounding areas of, Seethawaka and Padukka in the Colombo district, Yakkalamulla and Neluwa in the Galle district,  Horana,  Walallawita and Ingiriya in the Kalutara district, Udunuwara, Doluwa, Pathadumbara, Pasbage Korale, Ganga Ihala Korale, Pathahewaheta, Udapalatha, Deltota and Udadumbara in the Kandy district, Ruwanwella, Warakapola,
Galigamuwa and Bulathkohupitiya in the Kegalle district, Narammala, Rideegama, Alawwa and  Mallawapitiya in the Kurunegala district,  Rattota, Ambanganga Korale, Yatawatta, Laggala, Pallepola, Ukuwela and Naula in the Matale district,  Welipitiya in the Matara District,  Ambagamuwa, Hanguranketha, Norwood and Walapane in the Nuwara-Eliya district and, Imbulpe, Pelmadulla, Kiriella, Ayagama and Kuruwita in the Ratnapura district.
