The Political Parties Council, PPC, has announced the start of registration for political parties seeking to form coalitions ahead of the upcoming elections.

According to the council, the registration process officially started on Tuesday.

The process covers agreements and deposits for parties seeking to form pre-election or post-election coalitions.

The PPC says the deadline for registering coalitions intending to participate in the upcoming elections is 22nd October 2026.

It says the deadline is strictly set at 60 days before the elections, and all political parties must submit their applications on or before that date.

The council says registration forms are available at its offices in Hai Malakal in Juba.

The PPC has urged all concerned political parties and stakeholders to take note of the registration requirements and deadline.
