South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) on Tuesday advanced Upstage, SK Telecom and LG AI Research to the next stage of its Sovereign AI Foundation Model project, cutting Motif Technologies after a second-round assessment that combined benchmark testing, expert review and user evaluation.
