South Korea and China restored a high-level national security dialogue on Thursday after a nearly five-year suspension, with National Security Adviser Wi Sung-lac and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi agreeing to maintain regular contact on bilateral ties, the Korean Peninsula and regional and global issues. The channel had been dormant since Dec. 2021, and Wang invited Wi to visit China.
