President Lee Jae Myung on Sunday nominated new ministers for finance, defense, justice, land, SMEs and gender equality as part of a broader personnel shake-up that also reshuffled senior officials overseeing artificial intelligence, industrial projects and political affairs. First Vice Finance Minister Lee Hyoung-il was tapped to replace Finance Minister Koo Yun-cheol, while Second Vice Land Minister Hong Jee-sun was nominated to lead the land ministry and retired four-star general Kang Shin-chul to replace Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-back.
