KV Kortrijk have officially confirmed the signing of Shandre Campbell from fellow Belgian side Club Brugge.

The 21-year-old attacker has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at the Guldensporenstadion until 2030 as he begins a new chapter in the Belgian Pro League.

Announcing the transfer, KV Kortrijk said: “Shandre Campbell will play in red and white starting this season. The 21-year-old forward signs until 2030 at the Guldensporenstadion and joins from Club Brugge.”

The Belgian club also highlighted Campbell’s journey from SuperSport United to Club Brugge, where he initially featured for Club NXT in the Challenger Pro League before earning promotion to the senior team.

The former SA U20 international scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 25 league appearances for Club NXT. He later made 11 appearances in the Belgian Pro League, scoring a memorable goal against Zulte Waregem.

Sporting Director Nils Vanneste believes the South African will make a strong impact at the club.

“We are very proud to welcome Shandre Campbell to KV Kortrijk. With Shandre, we are bringing in someone who brings a lot of creativity, speed, and depth. Despite his young age, he has already gained experience in the Belgian First Division. We look forward to Shandre’s first minutes at the Guldensporenstadion.”

The move gives Campbell another opportunity to establish himself in Belgium’s top flight after progressing through SuperSport United, Club NXT and the Club Brugge first team.

KV Kortrijk concluded their announcement with a warm message to the South African forward, saying: “Welcome to Kortrijk, Shandre.“
