SINGAPORE – A 46-year-old woman was taken unconscious to the hospital after an accident between two cars near Clementi MRT station on Nov 2.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the police said they were alerted at 12.40pm to the accident at the junction of Clementi Avenue 6 and Commonwealth Avenue West.
The woman, who is one of the car’s drivers, was taken to National University Hospital, while another person was assessed for minor injuries and declined to be taken to the hospital.

The police said that a 37-year-old male driver is assisting with ongoing investigations.
The number of road traffic accidents resulting in injuries increased from 3,437 in the first half of 2024 to 3,740 in the first six months of 2025. This led to 4,860 injured people, up from 4,665 the year before.
