Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, has met with District Youth Officers across the country, urging them to remain steadfast, disciplined, and committed in the discharge of their duties as key drivers of youth development and national progress.

During the engagement, the minister emphasised that District Youth Officers occupy a strategic position in translating government youth policies into tangible impact at the grassroots level. He called on them to uphold professionalism, integrity, and patriotism in their service, noting that the future of the nation’s youth largely depends on their dedication and leadership.

Minister Sannoh further encouraged the officers to strengthen collaboration with local authorities and community stakeholders to ensure inclusive and sustainable youth empowerment initiatives. He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting District Youth Offices with the necessary guidance and policy direction to enhance effective service delivery.

The meeting formed part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to re-energise youth sector governance and reinforce a culture of national service, accountability, and results-oriented leadership among public youth institutions.
