Former SRC President donates customised Jerseys to UniMak community

In a show of unwavering support to the University of Makeni, the former Student Representative Council (SRC) President of the University of Makeni (UniMak), Mr. Edmond Alim B. Fornah, who also doubles as Executive Director Kids Advocacy Network, has donated a set of customised jerseys to the UniMak Community FC ahead of their much-anticipated football match scheduled for tomorrow. 

The presentation of the jerseys took place in Freetown and was met with excitement and gratitude from the Team’sCoach, Mr. Chernor Amadu Sesay. The customised kits, proudly bearing UniMak colors and identity, are intended to boost team morale and foster unity among past and current students as they prepare to represent the university on the field.

Speaking during the brief presentation, Mr. Fornahemphasised the importance of team spirit, consistency, and pride in institutional identity. He noted that sports serve as a vital platform for youth empowerment, discipline, and leadership values that align with his continued advocacy for youth development and empowerment across Sierra Leone.

“This gesture is a way of giving back to a family that contributes towards my leadership journey. I believe sports not only unite us but also remind us that teamwork and consistency are key ingredients for success both on and off the field,” Mr. Fornah stated. 

Receiving the donation on behalf of the team, the Coach,Chernor Amadu Sesay, expressed deep appreciation to the former SRC President, describing the gesture as timely and motivating. They assured him that the team will give their best performance in tomorrow’s encounter.
