While on his official visit to China, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visited the innovation centre of the Chinese company, Minth, which is also an investor in Serbia.
On that occasion, he announced that humanoid robots would begin to be produced in Serbia in less than two months, emphasising that Serbia would become the first country in Europe to manufacture such robots.
In Jiaxing, during the fourth day of his official visit to China, Aleksandar Vučić said, during a factory tour, that labour costs are significantly lower when robots are used than when workers are actually employed in the most developed European countries. He added that he was pleased that, thanks to Chinese friends and partners, such technologies would soon be arriving in Serbia.
While touring the factory, Vučić said that Serbia would also have a facility where robots would be trained. “We will soon have this as well, by 15 July. The future is arriving in Serbia,” Vučić stated.
Speaking about robotic dogs, Vučić explained that the smallest models can carry loads of up to five kilograms, while the larger ones can carry as much as 100 kilograms. He added that within a year Serbia would be capable of selling robots able to serve cocktails and breakfast.
