The student company from the Mileva Marić Ajnštajn Technical School in Novi Sad competed against 38 other European countries at the European youth entrepreneurship festival “Gen-E 2026”.

The festival took place from 6 to 10 July, offering students the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial ideas to an international jury. The team from Serbia won the “Re-Power Your Future” award for the best social impact.

In addition, the Serbian students won the award for the best stage presentation, as well as the award for the best short pitch.

The team – comprising Anđela Božić, Mijat Radovanović, Maša Koprenović, and Natalija Kundačina – also took first place in the city rally, whilst Natalija Kundačina was honoured with the individual Alumni Leadership Award.

“Representing Serbia at Europe’s largest event dedicated to youth entrepreneurship was an immense honour and one of the most valuable experiences for me. I am particularly proud of my team, as we showed just how far a shared vision, trust, and commitment can take us. I am grateful to our teacher-mentors, as well as the organisers, for their support and the opportunity to learn, grow, and represent our country among the best student companies in Europe,” said Kundačina.

Mentoring support for the students was provided by teachers Marina Pribiš and Jovana Despić, alongside Milovan Jarčević, a mentor from the company Bosch Serbia.

Alongside the student company Moneta Works, the Žitorađa Secondary School received significant recognition at the Gen-E festival, being named the Most Entrepreneurial School.
