On 22 December, the mts Dvorana will host a grand musical spectacle: the NEW YEAR’S ROCK OPERA, bringing audiences a unique fusion of rock energy, operatic power, symphonic grandeur, and the rich sound of a Big Band.
The concert, which bridges generations, genres, and emotions, will feature the Choir and Orchestra of the Serbian National Theatre Opera from Novi Sad, the Novi Sad Big Band, top vocal soloists Jana Šušteršić, Bojana Stamenov, Mattia Zanatta, and Zoran Šandorov, all under the baton of conductor Maestro Fedor Vrtačnik.
Audiences can look forward to powerful, festive, and spectacular renditions of the greatest rock anthems in music history. The setlist features iconic hits from legendary acts including Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles, The Doors, Van Halen, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Tina Turner, Prince, and Toto.
A special segment of the evening will be dedicated to Queen, marking the 80th anniversary of the birth of their legendary frontman, Freddie Mercury – one of the greatest vocalists and showmen in the history of popular music.
The concert starts at 8:00 pm.
