The drama that occurred on Monday in Albisrieden, a district of Zurich, is taking a decisive turn. The Swiss police arrested A. Diao, 50 years old, suspected of killing the Senegalese hairdresser Aminata Tall, found dead in her apartment.

According to the newspaper Libération, the suspect, found at the crime scene, confessed during her interrogation. She has been placed in detention as an “urgent suspect,” according to Swiss justice terminology. Still according to the same source, A. Diao had been taken in by Aminata Tall after being repudiated by her Swiss husband. On the night of the drama, the victim allegedly asked her to leave her apartment for reasons still unknown.

A violent dispute then erupted, during which the suspect allegedly grabbed a sharp object and repeatedly struck the hairdresser, killing her instantly.
