Frenchman Adisson Borges Lopes, 24 years old, was arrested on November 10, 2025 at the Blaise-Diagne International Airport (AIBD) as he was wanted for kidnapping, captivity, and murder.

He is suspected of being involved in the murder of Kassim Houna, 21 years old, who was fatally stabbed on January 8, 2025 in Cannes La Bocca, in the south of France. After the crime, the suspect had fled, leading Interpol to issue a red notice in August 2025 for his location and arrest.

Senegalese security forces intercepted him as he arrived from Cape Verde and was about to board a flight to Morocco. Handed over to Interpol’s National Central Bureau (NCB), he was placed under extradition custody by the Senegalese justice system. French authorities are now preparing an extradition request for him to be tried in France for murder committed in an organized group and criminal association.
