Toa Samoa Head Coach Ben Gardiner has named His Squad for the Upcoming 2025 Pacific Championship.
Gardiner has selected a blend of exciting young talent along with some experienced international players.
“We’re really excited about this squad. We’ve selected players who are not only in form but genuinely passionate about representing Samoa,” Gardiner said.
“They understand the responsibility and the opportunity, and we’re looking forward to the Pacific Championships.”
The Squad consists of veteran forwards Junior Paulo (Parramatta Eels), Josh Papali’i (Canberra Raiders) and Francis Molo (Redcliffe Dolphins) Alongside powerhouse young forwards Ata Mariota (Canberra Raiders), Terrell May (West Tigers) and Simi Sasagi (Canberra Raiders)
2025 Premiership Winner Payne Hass (Brisbane Broncos) has also been named in the Samoa Squad after he announced switching his allegiance from Australia to Samoa earlier this year.
North Queensland Cowboys second rower Jeremiah Nanai and St George Dragons Jaydn Su’a have also been named along side Manly Sea eagles back rower Jazz Tevaga.
Penrith Panthers backline Stars Brian To’o, Izack Tago and Blaize Talagi-Seuala have been named along with West Tigers Jarome Luai and Taylan May also been selected.
Veteran Warriors Winger Rodger Tuivasa-Sheck has also been named along side his Warriors teammate Chanel Harris-Tavita.
2025 Premiership Winner Deine Mariner from the Brisbane broncos also gets the call up alongside Cowboys winger Murray Taulagi.
Young St George Dragons Five-eight Lyhkan King-Togia with Sydney Roosters young hooker Benaiah Ioelu has also been named after an impressing season for the Roosters.
Coach Ben Gardiner and His Squad start their 2025 Pacific Championship campaign against New Zealand at Go Media Stadium in Auckland on Sunday, October 19th.
Samoa will then Go on and Play Pacific Rivals Tonga on Sunday 26th October at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
