World Rugby today have announced the Pools for the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2027 to be held in Australia and Samoa have been drawn with Feance, Japan and USA in Pool E.
Before today’s pool announcement each team were put into four categories based on their current world rugby rankings.
The 6 pools were then left to the luck of the draw with Manu Samoa in Band 4 as being the final team to qualify out of the 24 teams.
The Bands
With six pools featured in the 2027 World Cup, Manu Samoa have been drawn in Pool E alongside France, Japan and USA.
France being under Band 1, Japan band 2 and USA band 3 to make up Pool E of the RWC.
Pool A includes New Zealand, Australia, Chile and Hong Kong China.
Pool B is South Africa, Italy, Georgia and Romania.
Pool C has Argentina, Fiji, Spain and Canada.
Pool D includes Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay and Portugal.
With Pool F having England, Wales, Tonga and Zimbabwe.
