Hawaiian Airlines/Alaska Air cuts third flight

Beginning this week Hawaiian Airlines/Alaska Air is changing its flight schedule from three weekly flights to just two flights per week.  The airline is discontinuing its Wednesday night flight and will now fly here on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Wednesday flight started on May 22, 2024 and Hawaiian flight nights were Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The airline’s Local Station Manager Rosalind Polu said local government leaders were made aware of the two weekly flight schedule a while back and the airline has also been publicizing the change.

The flight times will remain the same.   The flight from Honolulu to Pago Pago arrives at 9:20 pm Monday and Thursday and departs at 11:20 pm the same nights.

Check in counters open at 6 pm and close at 10:20 pm.  Security and immigration desks open from 8:30 pm and Transportation Security Administration closes security checks at 10:20 pm.
