Governor Pulaalii Nikolao Pula has issued the following message for Thanksgiving.
“As we gather together this Thanksgiving, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the people of American Samoa. Today reminds us of the many blessings we are granted each day, and it offers us a moment to reflect on the goodness of our Lord, whose grace continues to guide and protect our islands.
“We give thanks for our families, those near and far whose love, support, and unity strengthen the foundation of our communities. We are also grateful for the hardworking men and women who serve our government, our Armed Forces, our villages, our churches, and our families with dedication and humility.
“May this season remind us to cherish one another, to uplift those in need, and to continue strengthening the spirit of alofa and fa’aaloalo that defines who we are as a people.
“On behalf of Lt. Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr. and the entire American Samoa Government, I wish you all a blessed, peaceful, and joyful Thanksgiving. May God continue to watch over our beloved territory and bless each of you abundantly.
“God bless, and Happy Thanksgiving.”
