Election Office urges graduates to register to vote

With the mid term elections just five months away the Election Office is getting the word out to graduates who have turned 18 that they are now eligible to vote.

For those planning to attend universities and colleges off-island Election Commissioner Dr Uiagalelei Lealofi urges that they register with the Election office before they leave.

Voter registration is now open at the Election Office in Tafuna from 8am o 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Required documents are a birth certificate or passport, Social Security Card and a photo ID.

The mid term elections will elect a Delegate to the US Congress and members of the American Samoa House of Representatives.
