Anthony Joshua defeats Jake Paul via Round 6 Knockout

It was Jake Paul’s toughest opponent in his career so far and it seemed like he bit off too much more than he could chew.

The first three rounds were frustrating for boxing fans as they saw close to no action with Jake Paul running from an Anthony Joshua who was clearly looking for the knockout from the opening bell.

Round 4 is when the entertainment started when “AJ” caught Paul with his trademark uppercut.  It clearly rattled the underdog and it was all downhill from there.

Paul was knocked to the canvas three times in Round 5 and was unable to avoid Joshua’s terrifying right hand.  Joshua would break Paul’s jaw before finishing him in the 6th Round.

Anthony Joshua is a former two time heavyweight boxing champion with a record of 30 wins and 4 losses.  This is Joshua’s first boxing bout in 15 months and he used this bout as a way to dust off the cobwebs.

Jake Paul on the other hand is a cruiser weight boxer with a professional record of 12 wins and 2 losses.  This bout against Joshua is his second bout at the heavyweight division.  He has now lost both of those bouts losing his first match at heavyweight to Tommy Fury.

Paul has made a name for himself by defeating old and retired boxers or MMA fighters.  Joshua is Paul’s first “real fight” and he did not last long.

Anthony Joshua now turns his attention to calling Tyson Fury out for another match while Jake Paul looks to heal from his broken jaw before returning to the boxing ring.
