Vincentians reported experiencing earth tremors this morning. A magnitude 6.7 earthquake was recorded northeast of the Lesser Antilles at approximately 8:38 a.m. local time on Monday, October 27, according to data from the UWI Seismic Research Centre (SRC).

The quake, located at latitude 16.50°N and longitude 59.55°W at a depth of 12 km, was felt across several islands including Guadeloupe, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
