This collaboration aims to facilitate the production of prosthetic limbs for individuals in St. Lucia, addressing a pressing need as over 300 residents currently await assistance.
In a demonstration of community spirit, Tapion Hospital is generously offering its facilities free of charge for this initiative with some utilities covered . The Rotary Club will take the lead in outfitting the space and providing essential training for staff, ensuring that the project not only meets immediate needs but also builds local capacity.
The Government of St. Lucia is fully supportive of this initiative, pledging assistance for staff and salaries, which underscores the collective commitment in this public private partnership to enhance the quality of life for those in need.
