In an inconsequential match Tuesday, the boys from Marchand put Micoud to the sword with Ferad Placide opening the scoring in the 5th minute and registering his brace in the 20th to give Marchand the 2-0 lead. Micoud’s Rai Gaspard pulled one back in the 32nd to end the first half on 2-1. The second half was at Marchand as Placide wasted no time in securing his hattrick in the 47th minute with Lincoln Phillip adding to his tally in the 51st and Nas Valcin putting his name on the score sheet in the 58th minute to make it a 5-1 full time whistle scoreline.
Tuesday’s second game was a clash in Tier One between defending champions and league leaders La Clery and a resurgent Dennery team. Yanic Noel was quick off the blocks with his 8th minute goal for La Clery but Dennery was not going to make it easy, and they equalized through Elijah Joseph in the 29th. La Clefry always looked like they were going to secure another 3 points, but it had to take some doing. It took young Kalum Marius to hit the back of the net in the 64th minute to hand La Clery all three points.
