Gros Islet and La Clery will play the title game in the Saint Lucia Football Association’s Northern Zone Under-20 Men’s District Tournament after winning their semifinals in different ways on Sunday at Marchand Grounds.

Gros Islet had thrashed Babonneau in the preliminaries at Grande Riviere Playing Field, scoring seven goals. This time, they led 6-0 by halftime and won 10-0.
There were goals from Thierry Morille in the 21st and 31st minutes, a first-half hat-trick by Rickelme Lionel (35, 38, 40), and a 43rd-minute marker from Niyel Fontenelle.

Almost from the restart, despite a change in goal for Babonneau, Morille completed his hat-trick and added a fourth in the 52nd minute. Devonte Howell scored in the 69th, and Mehki Stanislaus finished with a penalty in the 80th minute.
Unbeaten so far, La Clery laboured for their victory. Justice Germaine gave them a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute, but a dogged Marchand team fought back with a Jalen Pamphile equaliser in the 83rd. La Clery won 5-4 on penalties.

Eastern Zone preliminaries ended on Saturday at the Micoud Playing Field. Corin Hunte (24), Bourne Innocent (72), and Tafari Martin (90) gave Dennery a 3-1 win over Desruisseaux (Al Thomas scored in the eighth minute).
Micoud edged Mabouya Valley 1-0 by way of Mareus Aubert in the 85th minute.
In the Western Zone at the Anse La Raye Playing Field, Canaries outlasted Anse La Raye 3-2. Kyron Sydney scored twice (10, 35), and Derry John added the winner in the 74th minute. For Anse La Raye, Joshua Fevrier (44) and Andriano Auguste (63) had tied the game.
The Southern Zone finally kicked off on Friday at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort. Vieux Fort North and Choiseul played to a 2-2 draw. Asheim Joseph scored for Vieux Fort North in the 43rd, and Devin Philip equalised for Choiseul in the 48th. Lenus Johnny restored VFN’s lead in the 53rd, but Nahim Attirnne earned a share of the points in the 67th.
Soufriere beat Vieux Fort South with goals from Cassian Jn Baptiste in the 70th minute and Sherquan Joseph in the 80th.
