The French company is opening 60 positions for aircraft and engine maintenance mechanics, technical specialists and engineers, considering Romania a strategic talent market thanks to the country’s strong aviation expertise.
TARMAC Aerosave, the largest aircraft storage company in Europe and a leading provider of aircraft and engine maintenance services, is coming to Romania as part of its strategy to connect directly with the local pool of aviation professionals, offering them the opportunity to explore international career paths and join a global leader in the aviation industry. The company is recruiting primarily for its light and heavy maintenance operations, including working party activities, and roles within its Part 145 and Part 21 approved organisations, alongside opportunities in storage, transition and sustainable recycling operations. The company’s first meeting with Romanian specialists will take place on October 14 and 15 at the Crowne Plaza Bucharest Hotel, opening up opportunities for Romanian aircraft mechanics, engineers and technical specialists to join TARMAC Aerosave’s light and heavy maintenance teams in France and Spain.
The French company currently employs approximately 650 people across its three European sites and, as the company continues to grow, expects to open around 100 new positions each year. Approximately 60 opportunities are currently available for candidates attending the Bucharest event. The interest of TARMAC Aerosave in the Romanian talent market in due to the expertise and experience of our aircraft and engine maintenance professionals, skills that are highly relevant to the company’s Part 145 and Part 21 approved activities and its continued development.

More than 2,000 aircraft handled in less than two decades
Set up in 2007 in Tarbes, France, TARMAC Aerosave now operates three sites in France and Spain and offers the largest aircraft and engine storage capacity in Europe, alongside light and heavy maintenance capabilities within its Part 145 and Part 21 approved organisations. Its expertise covers the full aircraft lifecycle, from storage and maintenance through transition, dismantling and recycling. TARMAC Aerosave operates on all Airbus aircraft, including the A220, A320NEO, A330NEO, A350 and A380, all Boeing aircraft including the B787, and ATR 72 and 42 aircraft.
To date, TARMAC Aerosave has received more than 2,100 aircraft, of which 1,550 have been returned to service. The company, world leader in aircraft eco-recycling, has also dismantled 450 aircraft and 250 engines, and has developed state-of-the-art processes that enable 94 per cent of an aircraft to be recovered or recycled.
The Bucharest event is part of TARMAC Aerosave’s proactive international approach to recruitment, identifying aviation talent wherever it may be found and creating opportunities to build its teams for the long term. In Romania, TARMAC Aerosave is particularly looking for B1/B2 aircraft mechanics, team leaders, technical specialists, engine team leaders, and engine technicians and mechanics with CFM56 or LEAP experience. For professionals joining its operations in France and Spain, the company also provides personalised support throughout the relocation process, covering both professional and personal aspects.
