New international player enters the Romanian market, Greek jewelry designer Anna Maria Mazaraki

Greek jewelry designer Anna Maria Mazaraki is entering the Romanian market with the opening of its first local store, located in ParkLake Shopping Center in Bucharest, with Romania becoming its second market outside Greece.

Anna Maria Mazaraki is a family-owned brand specializing in jewelry and fashion accessories designed for women, with a focus on everyday elegance. Inspired by the light, colors and spirit of Greece, the collections blend accessible luxury with emotional storytelling and contemporary design.

The company currently operates a total of 44 points of sale: 28 stores in Greece, five in Cyprus, eight duty-free locations in Greek airports, two stores aboard cruise ships, as well as an online store. The retailer employs more than 180 people across its operations.

The brand’s entry comes at a time of solid momentum for Romania’s retail sector. According to the latest Romania Retail Snapshot 2025 report, sales across major retail chains increased by 7.1% last year, while the jewelry segment recorded a particularly strong performance, posting growth of nearly 12%.
