Between October 16 and 18, 2026, ROMEXPO hosted this year’s edition of the DENTA & ROMMEDICA trade fair, alongside the National Optics and Optometry Salon (SNOO)
The 2026 edition brought dentistry, general medicine, and optics-optometry together within the same exhibition space for the first time. This concept enabled physicians, dentists, dental technicians, optometrists, opticians, and clinic managers to explore offerings from various sectors of the medical industry—all in a single visit—and to engage in direct discussions with companies operating in the field.
Solutions Presented Directly at the Stands
Exhibitors showcased equipment for dental offices and laboratories, solutions for clinics and healthcare facilities, digital technologies, materials, and consumables, as well as lenses, products, and equipment for optometry practices.
For professional visitors, the trade fair offered an opportunity to see equipment in operation, compare various solutions, and request technical and commercial details directly from manufacturers and distributors. For the companies involved, the three-day event meant meetings with existing clients and discussions with potential partners.
The Scientific Component, On Stage
On the first day of the event, the Romanian Medical Association (RMA) Congress was structured into two components: a scientific section—held online and accredited with 18 CME (Continuing Medical Education) points—and an RMA Forum dedicated to dentistry. The latter took place in person at ROMEXPO, in the Hygea Hall of Pavilion B2; registered participants received a complimentary subscription to the *Romanian Journal of Dentistry* (*Revista Română de Stomatologie*), a publication accredited with 10 CME credits.
At the stage of the National Optics and Optometry Salon (SNOO), a program of presentations and workshops ran throughout the three days. The practical workshops—designed for optometrists, opticians, and physicians—focused on direct clinical application, covering topics ranging from myopia monitoring to the assessment of the ocular surface.
Thanks to our partners
We thank all the exhibitors for their presence at ROMEXPO and for their engagement throughout the three days. We extend our gratitude to the Romanian Medical Association for organizing the AMR Forum, to TAMO OPTIMPEX—the organizer of the National Optics and Optometry Exhibition—as well as to the companies that delivered presentations as part of the program.
We also thank the lecturers and speakers for sharing their time and expertise, our media partners for their support in promoting the event, and all the collaborators and teams who contributed to its organization.
Last but not least, we thank the professional visitors who chose to attend the trade fair and be part of the entire experience.
See you again at ROMEXPO for the 2027 edition!
