Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand under China’s Geely Holding Group, is entering the Romanian market in October, marking its latest step in expanding across Southeast Europe.

Romanian customers will be able to order three of Zeekr’s newest models, the 7X mid-size SUV with a range of more than 600 kilometers (WLTP), the 001 shooting brake, and the compact SUV Zeekr X.

The brand’s local rollout is being carried out in partnership with SEEAG, an importer with more than three decades of experience representing premium automotive brands and advancing electric mobility in the region.

Deliveries for customer orders are expected to begin before the end of the year. Zeekr plans to open its first showrooms in key Romanian cities, supported by a network of authorized service centers.

Founded as Geely’s global premium EV technology brand, Zeekr operates R&D centers in Gothenburg, Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Since commencing deliveries in October 2021, Zeekr has sold over 510,000 vehicles.
