The Qatar-based broadcaster has not commented on the incident.
Al Jazeera crew was harassed on Monday as they covered an attack on four ambulances belonging to the community near a synagogue in Golders Green. The attack was claimed by a group calling itself the Islamic Movement of the People of the Right Hand, though police said that while they are aware of the claim, they are still verifying its accuracy.
Footage shared by Al Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Almadhoun showed one man shouting at the crew: “Go take your briefcase, go take your Al Jazeera equipment and go. No one wants Al Jazeera here.”
Another told a crew member to “go back to Qatar”.
This is what Jewish Supremacism looks like.

The video also showed a police officer urging the crowd to allow the journalists to work. “They’re reporting the news,” the officer said.
Despite this, one individual accused Al Jazeera of reporting “to potential terrorists”, claiming to feel “threatened” by the broadcaster.
Al Jazeera has not commented on the incident.
The confrontation took place hours after three men dressed in black set fire to four ambulances belonging to Hatzola, a Jewish community organisation in north London. Golders Green is a predominantly Jewish neighbourhood.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the arson attack as “a deeply shocking antisemitic” one.
“My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news,” he said on X.
The police said they are treating the attack as an antisemitic hate crime and not a terror attack.
Repeated targeting of Al Jazeera
Al Jazeera has faced increasing hostility in Western countries, particularly from supporters of Israel, since the beginning of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip in 2023. Israel has since killed more than 72,000 Palestinians in the besieged enclave.
Israeli and pro-Israel figures and media have targeted Al Jazeera for its reporting of the horrors committed by Israel against Palestinians, killing at least 10 of the broadcaster’s journalists and crew.
Qatar, where Al Jazeera is headquartered, has also been the target of criticism, despite its vital mediation efforts that resulted in the release of more than 150 Israeli captives held by Hamas.
Critics have also focused on Qatar’s hosting of Hamas’s political office. Doha had agreed to host the office in 2012 at the request of the United States to maintain a channel of communication with the group — a move that has proven effective in past and current mediation efforts.
