Ghana’s embassy has urged Ghanaian citizens in Qatar who wish to leave to submit the biodata pages of their passports via email to dohaamfa.gov.gh.
The Embassy of Ghana in Qatar has announced an emergency evacuation for its citizens in Doha amid heightened security in the region.
“In the wake of the heightened security situation in the region, the Republic of Ghana has decided to undertake a one-way evacuation exercise to Ghana for all Ghanaians in Qatar,” the embassy said in a statement on X.
The Ghana government has emphasised that this exercise is strictly a one-way evacuation, with all participants being transported back to Ghana.

Ghanaians, residing in Qatar, who wish to take part in the evacuation have been asked to confirm their interest as soon as possible.
They must submit the biodata pages of their passports via email to [email protected]. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, 17 March 2026.
The embassy added that it continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as necessary to ensure a smooth and orderly evacuation process.
