This year we took seventy Golfers to play in this event which was great fun and generated money for our designated charity.

We were sponsored this year by Prime Wine, based in Loule, who were extremely generous.

Prime Wine provided prizes for the nearest the pin prizes on 2 holes for men and ladies and the overall winners of the competition.

After our golf we had lunch at a beautiful restaurant in a resort known as Quinta do Rosal.

The team from the restaurant provided superb service and delivered a delicious BBQ meal for everyone. We were looked after by Anke, Gudrun, the chef Annabella, and staff.

One of our main aims for the day is to help one of the years chosen charities.

This year we supported our late Lady Captains favourite charity, Associação Humanitária Doentes, Parkinson, alzheimer AHDPA, based in Vila Sol, who proved exceptional care in a superb environment, that makes a big difference to people with these illnesses.

We had the privilege to hand over €1052, money which was raised at the Golf Day, with huge thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and members.
