On October 15, to celebrate the premiere of the film “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere,” Hard Rock Cafe Lisbon will present a special, free concert with Bluescab, a rock band known for their interpretations of classic songs.
Inspired by the universe of the new film—starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen and Jeremy Strong as manager Jon Landau, and opening in theatres on October 23—the show pays homage to the album Nebraska (1982), The Boss’s most personal and introspective work. Recorded at home on a four-track cassette recorder, Nebraska is a raw and human portrait of the stories and characters that define America—and now it gains new life, both in the cinema and on the stage at Hard Rock Cafe Lisbon.
Bluescab reinterprets this legacy with contemporary energy, in a show that combines emotion, authenticity, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit. The Portuguese band will perform Bruce Springsteen’s repertoire, as well as legendary hits from various rock bands featured on this cover band’s setlist.
The free show takes place on October 15 at 10 pm at Hard Rock Cafe Lisbon.
