The ship belongs to Explora Journeys, which encompasses the MSC Group’s luxury brand. Explora III will pass through Lisbon between 3 and 10 August, during the ship’s maiden voyage from Barcelona, Spain.
The MSC Group revealed that prior to the inaugural itinerary, there will be a trip reserved for selected guests, taking place between 24 and 29 July 2026. For that purpose, the ship departs from Genoa, Italy and includes stops in Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Livorno, before arriving in Civitavecchia (Rome).
“This exclusive preview journey is our way of honouring those who have grown up with us and believed in our vision from the start,” explains Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys, quoted by Publituris.
The ship, fuelled by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), will have 463 suites with private balconies, seven restaurants and 13 bars and lounges, reveals the same media outlet.
