Former Minister Comments
Former Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin, a politician from the Law and Justice (PiS) party, responded to the viral clip. He wrote:
“That’s why it’s so important to support Polish ownership, including in retail. Tusk’s government has not only abandoned the fight for Polish farmers’ interests in the EU (by failing to oppose the Mercosur deal, agreeing to liberalized trade with Ukraine, and accepting a new agricultural budget cut by one-third), but it also takes no action domestically to ensure food security or strengthen Polish capital.”
