BCR: Peruvian exports up 13.5% in 3Q 2025 | Noticias

Peruvian product exports totaled US$23.438 billion in the third quarter of 2025, a 13.5% increase compared to the same period of the previous year (US$20.645 billion), the

reported.

The issuing entity explained that this performance was driven by stronger dynamism of export prices, mainly for traditional products (18.9%).

This was reinforced by the notable growth in shipped volumes of non-traditional products (19%), particularly from the agricultural (35.5%) and fishing (30.5%) sectors.

Non-traditional

The BCR noted that the dynamism in non-traditional product shipments was supported by increased sales of blueberries —whose harvest season took place during the quarter— avocados, frozen mangoes, as well as cacao and its derivatives.

The issuing entity also highlighted the greater availability of giant squid biomass, which enabled a strong expansion in shipments of this product, both frozen and canned.

Thus, total exports —accumulated over the last four quarters— as a percentage of GDP stood at 26.6% in the third quarter of 2025, higher than in the same period of 2024 (25.4%).
