For the second consecutive year, the Sugu Peace Basketball Association is preparing to host a major event aimed at cementing reconciliation in a region previously torn by violence. The 2nd Edition Christmas Peace Basketball Tournament is scheduled to run for five days, from December 20th to December 24th, at Katiloma Village in Sugu Valley.

The return of the tournament underscores the success of last year’s inaugural event and the commitment of local youth to sustain a culture of harmony. The basketball games are far more than a holiday celebration; they serve as an official, highly anticipated association tournament designed to attract teams from neighbouring districts and provinces, extending the reach of the peace message.
