The Sustainable Development Program (SDP) has announced a targeted investment to strengthen primary and preventative healthcare across rural and remote communities in the South Fly and Delta Fly Districts. The initiative places the emphasis squarely on improving health outcomes for families, supporting local health workers, and supporting provincial health priorities.

Through this partnership, YWAM Medical Ships- Australia & PNG (YWAM MS) will work in tandem with SDP’s mobile health patrol teams, Provincial Health Authority (PHA) staff, district health workers, and community volunteers to ensure consistent access to essential services such as immunisations, maternal and child health, tuberculosis and HIV screening, oral health, eye care and health education.
