The death of a remandee has led to the brutal assault on 57 inmates who had demanded more action on prisoner welfare last week, triggering serious allegations of excessive force, negligence and human rights abuses at Bomana Prison.
A video obtained by the Post-Courier shows inmates in Cell A5 seated outside their block when more than 50 warders begin yelling at the prisoners.
