Prime Minister James Marape has underscored the transformational role of the Government’s Connect PNG infrastructure program in opening economic opportunities across Papua New Guinea. He emphasised that agriculture and other renewable sectors are key to creating sustainable income and employment for ordinary Papua New Guineans.
Speaking on the broader vision behind the nationwide road connectivity agenda, Prime Minister Marape described the roads being developed as “economic corridors” rather than merely transport links. He stated these corridors are designed to unlock the productive potential of customary land and empower local communities.
