Parliamentary services officers assist Madang assembly members with induction

A team from the Parliamentary Services of the PNG National Parliament was in Madang to assist in conducting a week-long induction workshop for the Madang Provincial Assembly members.

The induction, which commenced on Monday, May 18, 2026, was made possible upon invitation by the Provincial Member and Governor for Madang Province, Ramsey Pariwa. The workshop aims to upskill newly elected Local Level Government (LLG) presidents and appointed representatives on assembly procedures, assembly management, and leadership responsibilities, and is fundamentally aimed at strengthening the conduct of provincial assembly business.
