The National Nutrition Summit 2025 will be held from 1st–3rd December in Port Moresby, bringing together national leaders, development partners, and provincial representatives to address child malnutrition through a unified, multisectoral approach.
The Summit, themed “United for a Stunting-free Future – Accelerating Nutrition Action in Papua New Guinea.” organized by the Child Nutrition and Social Protection Project (CNSP) — a Government of PNG and World Bank-financed initiative — the event will highlight how coordinated action across the Department of Justice and Attorney General (DJAG), Department of Health (NDoH), and Department for Community Development and Religion (DfCDR) can reduce stunting and improve child wellbeing.
