Following Wednesday’s Roving Scribe report, the responsible authority responded under the cover of darkness last night to address the notorious “Boss Pothole” in Harbour City.
The intervention began at approximately 10pm when a convoy of trucks and workers descended upon the Boss Pothole of Harbour City Road.
The team spent the night filling the Boss up with gravel, a move that has provided immediate, though temporary, relief for frustrated commuters.

Consequently, for the first time in weeks, small vehicles can now navigate the stretch without the looming fear of “drowning” in the depths.
The Post-Courier Online originally nicknamed the pothole the “Boss Pothole” to highlight its status as a seasoned veteran of the road, known for tossing vehicles from side to side for weeks.
However, while we acknowledge this swift intervention, the use of gravel has raised serious questions regarding durability.
With heavy rains continuing to hit the capital, there is a main fear among commuters that the fill will wash away by tonight, potentially leaving an even larger crater in its wake.
Until a permanent road seal is applied to the section, drivers are encouraged to enjoy the smoother transit while it lasts, though the long-term reign of the Boss Pothole may not be over just yet.
